THE MAIN PLOT.
 
EPISODE 1: NO NEED FOR PARTNERS!
KIYONE IS SENT TO LOOK FOR HER PARTNER.MIHOSHI MAULS KIYONE KIYONE is a space detective first class with the Galaxy Police.  She is sent (with extreme anxiety) to Earth to look for her ex partner Mihoshi and confirm whether or not she is alive or dead.

 
EPISODE 2: NO NEED FOR RESIDENT OFFICERS!
THE TWO DETECTIVES SHARE BREAKFAST.YET ANOTHER PART-TIME JOB FOR THE SPACE DETECTIVES. Mihoshi, after crashing her ship on Earth, sends out an SOS call into space.  Meanwhile Princess Ayeka is on board her ship, when she intercepts and responds to the hail.  Tenchi's grandfather encourages Ayeka to stay and take a break from her duties.
EPISODE 3: NO NEED FOR FOR A CARNIVAL!
CARNIVAL TIME, HELD IN THE GROUNDS OF THE MASAKI SHRINE.AYEKA AND RYOKO COMPETE TO RUN THE BEST STALL. Sasami, Ayeka's younger sister arrives to see Ayeka. Also we get our first glimpse of Ryo-Ohki, the child of Ryoko's spaceship.
