THE MAIN PLOT. |
 |
Yosho has run away
from Jurai with his girlfriend, Haruna. He has had to do
this because of the strict rules on his home world regarding
those of royal blood.
|
| Unfortunately
as the Earth is in sight, Haruna succumbs to illness and
passes away, leaving Yosho to live on Earth for 700 years. |
 |
In the present we
see the usual squabbling between Ayeka and Ryoko. Tenchi
arrives to try and separate them and they give him an
ultimatum.

| He
runs away, up the steps to the shrine then leaves the path to
investigate a certain flowering tree. |
 |
Tenchi
vanishes. When he has been missing for 6 months, his dad
decides to inform the police that he is missing.
|
| Washu
hatches a plan to help find Tenchi. She sends Sasami
back to Jurai for information gathering. Mihoshi and
Kiyone are sent to Galaxy Police Headquaters to gain use of
the Dimensional stabilisers. |

Ryoko and Ayeka
are sent to look for Tenchi on the ground. Equipped with
a watch sensitive to temporal shifts, they get jobs in a
restaurant for cash and to wait for the signal.

| On
many occasions they see Tenchi, but then he vanishes
again. Later they see Tenchi and a woman appear in the
restaurant where they are working. |

Tenchi does not
see or hear them, and shortly after vanishes again.
Washu confirms that there is a parallel Earth existing not far
from their own Earth. Washu, with the help of the
Dimensional Stabilisers at Galaxy police headquarters, manages
to send Ayeka and Ryoko to the other Earth to confront This
woman who has trapped Tenchi.
